There are 8 teams divided into two groups; Group A and Group B. Every team comprises of six fighters; five male fighters and one female fighter. The fighters belong to six different weight categories. Each team will also have six back-up fighters. Each event will have 6 bouts comprising of 3 rounds of 5 minutes each.
The four teams of each group compete within twelve league level qualifying matches, in group stages in order to qualify for the semi-final matches. All the matches are played between the respective teams of the allotted groups.
Top two teams from the qualifying matches will play in the semi final. The top team of each group will compete with the second place team of the other group. Winning teams of semi-final matches will fight for the final title. Losing teams from the semi-final will compete for third place.

SCORING SYSTEM
The Super Fight League has revolutionised the game of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) with it’s unique point scoring system. Following are the criteria (Point Scoring System) where a contestant can win/draw a match and accordingly, the team gets scored;

UNANIMOUS DRAW
When all the judges score the contest a draw
MAJORITY DRAW
When maximum judges score the contest a draw
SPLIT DRAW
When all the judges score differently
REFEREE DECISION = +3 TO THE WINNER
When the Referee gets the last word and scores the contestant(s)
UNANIMOUS DECISION
When all the judges score win for a contestant
SPLIT DECISION
When maximum judges score a contestant and other judges score the other contestant
TECHNICAL KNOCK OUT = +4
When Referee stops the contest and when an injury as a result of a legal maneuver is severe enough to terminate a bout
SUBMISSION = +5
Physical Tap Out and/or Verbal tap out
KNOCK OUT = +6
When a contestant is rendered unconscious due to strikes also known as ‘lights out knockout’
Team with maximum points after all bouts wins the Game.
The game with an equal score by both teams at the end of all bouts is considered as a tie.
